Best bank card for a 17 year old to use abroad?

Any recommendations for something like Revolut or Monzo for a 17 year old to use while they are on holiday with friends? Thanks!

Can he not have a revolut account ?

Have found Revolut fine for DS17 for a couple of overseas school trips - I had to get an account too though.

My children have used Monzo abroad (in many different countries) with no problem - they link it to Apple Pay on their phone

I have revolut, and didn't realise the under 18 version was slightly different/had to be linked to an adult. I suppose it won't actually be too bad if I have some control over what they do!
