DD (13) periods

My dd started her periods last January (2024). She had a proper period lasting 6 days but absolutely nothing since. She had a blood test via the gp a couple of weeks ago to see if there were any issues and apparently everything is fine - I called and the receptionist told me this. What should I do now? Just wait and see what happens? Ask to see the gp to discuss? Referral to someone else? Any advice would be helpful.

I think this is within the range of normal. My dd did something similar - 2 periods and then 18 months of nothing.

agree its still in normal range. I think 15 is the age they start investigating, making referrals.

Why would you do anything? I’m not understanding from your op why you went for tests - was that because of the periods or something else? I thought it was completely normal to have one then not another for ages. Also the age is normal to not have started properly yet. Sorry, I’m not getting what is worrying you.

Thank you all for the reassurance. My other 2 DDs were regular from day 1 so completely different.

My daughter is almost 13, she started hers just after her 11th birthday. Since then, she has been going anything between 3 and 9 weeks between periods but the last 2 have been pretty much on time.
As someone with PCOS, I started to worry but my Dr assured me it's very normal and only if they were still not regular after 2 years would they investigate

I think this is more unusual in my experience
