DD16 spotty skin

Hi, my DD16 is suffering from spots on her face and she has become self conscious about them. Can anyone recommend facial products to use (or do you recommend not using anything on the skin?) and maybe foods that are good too for better skin? Thank you

My teens have been using Acnecide with some success.

Depending how bad it is, a visit to the GP may help, one of DD's friend is on the pill due to acne.

It's a bit of trial and error with regards to skin care, lots of products can be harsh. She could try and see if there is a salon who does teen facials and they may be able to get to the bottom of it and recommend product types.

But I found that a good routine definitely helps, especially if she wears make up.

Food - there are lots of opinions about it, but I think a zinc supplement can help.

Honestly this is the best thing I've found! It's so natural and won't strip the skin of essential oils but clears spots up so well. Both of my boys have used it for years- if they forget it stop using it for a while and their spots come back they start using it again and they clear up in a day or two! It might take a bit longer when you first start but honestly this is the best thing I found when I was researching skincare for children 😊

I would send photos go GP. They put our eldest on a course of antibiotics that sorted it out really quickly.
