Hair removal - armpit

DD is 12 and has some wispy armpit hair. We are going on holiday abroad soon (somewhere hot) and she's self-conscious about it and has said she'd like to remove it.

I have a Philips Lumea but I see it's not recommended for people under the age of 16 (but can't find out why). Also, if she chooses to rock hairy armpits as an adult, I don't want to deprive her of this!

I don't trust her with a razor as she's a bit clumsy, and I have sensitive skin and come up in hives with hair removal cream, so worry that she might have inherited this.

Any suggestions for her?

Cheap battery Philips Ladyshave or similar.

To be honest, it's all I ever use but it's particularly easy for starting out. It doesn't shave as close as a normal razor but it's good enough and quick.

I got an electric razor for my ds who started having to shave aged 12 for similar reasons.
