How to be more patient

Been a single parent for 2 years. Ex useless and, though sees them, is a complete Disney Dad. I'm everything to them day to day. I work full time in a full on job. I'm heading into peri menopause. How do I be more patient. 2 girls, 13 and 10. One (13) so laid back but can't make a decision to save her life - couldn't choose between burger king and KFC and was almost crying so I lost it. 10year old is opposite and obsessed by clothes, make up etc and just sulks all the time. So that gets on my nerves! I fear becoming the mean parent they hate because I just can't be all breezy about anything. Any advice or books or something????

Be kind to yourself , you are human and it's hard being a single parent . I would be honest and say sorry I lost it etc as often as you can -
Are you able to take some time for yourself ? This Weill help enormously.. much easier when your batteries are charged
