my dds last day tomorrow, i felt quite nostalgic when i dropped her off this morning, i remember her first day, her dear little grey pinafore and red tights and the bloody pocahontas lunch box she insisted on (knew her own mind even then)

today she is wearing a neon lemon mini-skirt with electric blue tights and sort of 'adam-ant styly' make up

god knows what the teachers will think (posh girls school, dd is an arty rebel type )

Oh, I remember DD1 leaving school. I was very tearful. I spent about a week beforehand playing 'To Sir With Love' by Lulu and blubbing.

I'm sorry, I can't help my pathetic tendencies

Rosbo · 09/05/2008 22:58

mumeeee · 13/05/2008 10:20

Ds is allowed to start wearing 'business clothes' at the beginning of June - I was feeling quite tearful about no more school uniform - heaven knows what I'll be like when they leave!

They grow up so fast - this should have been a practise, so that I can start again and get it right!
