Teen girls gym wear

What do your teen girls wear to do exercise, rather than the activewear for lounging, going out etc? What are the brands they go for? My niece has asked for clothes to wear to the gym for her birthday and I’m clueless. I tried JD Sports but it was sensory overload hell and the staff clearly thought I was just lost and elderly…

Teen and early twenties women at my gym all wear high waisted Lycra cycling shorts or leggings, and tiny bra tops. Think they are mostly online gym-specific brands - things like Adanola, AYBL, and Gymshark.

Cannot attest to the quality as I wear mostly running brands and Sweaty Betty but don’t think that’s what the teens want!

White Fox is the brand most teenage girls wear, where I live or Gymshark.

Lululemon, Gymshark and Alo here. Once they're paying for it themselves, they suddenly all start shopping at TJMAXX!

Thank you! Three votes for Gymshark so I’ll go for that.

Dfyne and Bo&Tee.

I’d say Gymshark too. Good value (especially compared to Lululemon), and decent quality and choices

My dd is early 20's and favours Swetty Betty but has Nike too.

AYBL is the go-to at the moment for the gym according to my two older teen daughters!

Nike Pro with it written round the waistband, it's like a uniform in sports clubs.

I have a DD14 and trying to figure out what’s actually for the gym vs. what’s just trendy can be tricky. For proper exercise, my daughter likes Gymshark, Nike or H&M’s sportswear range, simple black leggings and supportive sports bras.
She found some good tips on the teen wellbeing Luna app (weareluna.app) too, it’s helped her figure out what she feels comfortable and confident in for exercise. It's got fashion tip articles and she can also ask an anonymous question to experts, so she's done some about how to feel confident in her school uniform and PE kit. Hope that helps!
