How do u all do bedtime with teenagers?!

We have 2 DD 14 & 12 - it's a battle with them going to sleep so have started removing mobiles and charging downstairs when they go to bed

What time do your kids this age go to bed?!

Dts are 13. Phones are off and downstairs 830 on school nights. They can regulate themselves for when they want to sleep after that. Holidays more like 10 for the phones.

Phones downstairs overnight.
Set bed time (age dependent) but if they don't want to be asleep happy for them to read etc as long as don't disturb others.
Aged 15 I removed bed time rules at weekends and holidays (except phone downstairs) as long as they respect others may be sleeping and they don't stay up too late that they are grumpy the next day. Then after gcses no bedtime any day (hopefully they've learnt by that point how much sleep they need). Youngest is now 15 and so far no issues with my 3. I usually start the free rein at the start of summer holiday so they learn to self regulate.

14 DS and 12 DD here, our routine is as follows -
730 - DD off tech and phone downstairs
830 - DS off tech and phone downstairs
9pm - DD lights out and sleep
930 - DS lights out and sleep
Weekends and holidays - These times are pushed back an hour but they are usually asleep before I have to ask.

We have always been very strict on bedtimes as they are genuinely awful without sleep. They won't be allowed thier phones in their rooms overnight all the time I am paying for it.

I had to have DC2's phone charging in our room as they sneaked downstairs in the night if it was on charge there.

Dd11 tech off an upstairs at 8.15
Dd13 tech off and upstairs at 8.30

We don't do lights out, they wash and get ready for bed, sometimes do their hair chat and read. Often both asleep by 10 on a school night. Up at 6.30 to leave at 7.20 for the bus.

More relaxed on a Friday and school holidays. Tend to stay as normal on a Saturday as both have sports in the morning. Tech is off and downstairs all night. Tv and Xbox in their room but they don't turn it on without asking really.
