News magazine for nearly 13 year old - not The Week Junior

My daughter has been reading The Week Junior for years but has outgrown it. However, she isn't interested in reading an adult newspaper. Do you have any suggestions for other publications for young adults so she can stay abreast of the news?

The Times? The Guardian? At this age, I'd say an adult newspaper.

The Week itself. It’s a clearly written round up of the news week, and quite enjoyable to read.

Obvious maybe but The Week? I’m not sure there’s a YA news magazine. I used to enjoy Private Eye at that age as well.

We just started getting the Week for this exact reason!

Also, we had to stop The Week Junior a while ago because I found it unremittingly depressing. The adult version is a bit more cheerful!

Subscribe to Readly for a month so she can find any that appeal?

Thank you all!
