Think that you know nothing
Get really grumpy when you help them
Need to be reminded to do basic chores
Start homework at 4pm on Sunday

Not all teenagers and not all the time and most of the time mine are delights but can you tell it's been a day of it!

In positive news we did remembrance service at church and the memorial and they were perfectly behaved.

I think you're winning!

Because they’re at that age where they do index think they know it all and that they are adults. My trick is to indeed allow them to think they are mini adults, give them the responsibility, let them fail, help them to sort it when they do. And within a short time they soon realise that they are no actually smart arses.

My mum would embarrass me by daring to run to catch a bus!! Mortifying as I would be trying to look as if I wasn’t running but walking quickly as she would be yelling “Run or we’ll miss the bus!”The shame of it !!!!
Now teenagers hate even going by bus!!!
