How much do they spend on each other for Christmas and birthdays?

Too much but it's their money. I know he bought her a Tiffany necklace to mark their 1 year anniversary of being together, now he's buying her another (way, way more expensive) to mark their 10 years together.

10 years? Is that a typo?

I've no idea and not really sure it’s my business.

I have no idea really - his girlfriend, his money. I know he has bought her various stupidly overpriced jellycat things for anniversaries etc, and he got her some Uggs last Christmas which must have been about £100. He's started uni now but that would have been in upper sixth.
Why are you bothered op?

LastNightMyPJsSavedMyLife · 19/10/2024 17:29

No Op, they were together at 15 and are now 25.

Is this 6th form specific or do you just mean someone between the ages of 16 and 18?

My DD and her bf spent about £50 on each other for their first Christmas (they'd been ‘official’ for a couple of months). For each others birthdays (18th for both of them) about £100ish I think - maybe a bit more as they each also paid for a dinner out in London

DD spent about £80 on her boyfriend for their anniversary. Will probably spend £40-50 on Christmas I suppose.
She has a good job though so although she's saving she's got a fair bit of cash. He has less as not been able to find a job and I think he probably spends less.
