we are going through the joys of the last week before the coursework has to be in. so i am cracking the whip. he is moody and miserable. not my fault he left it to the last week.
just brought him a new pair of shoes. £54
he is still moody and miserable.
He is usualy good fun and my mate. I don't like this.

is he feeling overwhelmed by the work? Obv this is a good lesson to him, but can you help him plan the coursework out a bit?

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 17/04/2008 12:37

would love to.

But methinks it may react oddly to my 14yo girl.

So, I shall pass this time if you don't mind.

Tis probably just the stress of exams and coursework and stuff - he'll be back to his usual self in a few months days

CissyCharlton · 17/04/2008 12:37

Is this the same boy who was lovely with your dd last week. Maybe he read the posts praising him and has decided that nice boys are just not cool.

MinkyBorage · 17/04/2008 12:39

I'll have him if he'll babysit

Denny185 · 17/04/2008 12:42

Ill swop him for a winging 6 year old girl who moans about every meal put in front of her

themoon66 · 17/04/2008 13:04

No point swapping with me.... I have exactly the same make and model as you.

2shoes · 17/04/2008 16:54

oh I have done the planning. we are getting there slowly. he now has 3 bits of tech to do and on bit of english(main essay done but not long enough) so even with only doing 1 bit tommorow he will do it
I think he is just bored with having to do the same subject. BUT he chose tech as an option and has had months to do it
(anyone know what will happen to year 11's next week on strike day?).

I'll swap him for Ds and then we can go to Reading as it looks like it's going to be sooo much better than Download this year!

Wonder if I can take Ds to Reading?....

2shoes · 17/04/2008 21:59

ds really wants to go to reading.something annoyed him about download. the haeadine act is???
who ever it was he didn't think they should be headlining. who is at reading.

vixnpips · 19/04/2008 15:40

Oh and he could compare Vans with my DS1 grrrr LOL

talkingmongoose · 19/04/2008 15:49

Mine wants Vans, but too many £££.

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 19/04/2008 16:29

I already have one 2shoes.

I have a bigger one too. They do get less moody. In a couple of years. Promise.

vixnpips · 19/04/2008 17:15

I make DS1 buy his own Vans LOL

PersonalClown · 19/04/2008 17:46

The headline acts for Download are Judas Priest, Lostprophets, Offspring, and Kiss.

A7X are at Reading with BFMV, Slipknot, Metallica, QOTSA, Tenacious D and loads more.
Readig is the better festival this year.

2shoes · 19/04/2008 18:30

that was them..lost prophets. he is so not impressed. Reading sounds really good.
