DD (ASD diagnosed) goes to toilet in busy airport. Back very quickly. DD Says “there was a long long queue for the women’s”. Me says “what did you do?”, DD “went to the men’s”. Me replies “please don’t. For yourself and respect of others, don’t”. DD replies, “well I am a boy”. Me “no you’re not”. I’m really upset.
I thought we got over this. DD is 14.
what am I supposed to say?

I'd completely ignore it. It's not an issue until it becomes an issue.

Ask her if she’s a boy and wees out of her (?) penis, why on earth did she waste time queueing for the female loo’s then??

I mean, don’t do that, I’m sure it’s not helpful, but my god maybe she needs the contradiction pointed out.
