Hi all

DD14 was getting changed earlier and I saw one of her breasts is quite red and has dark stretch marks. She’s very private so I hadn’t seen this before. She’s very nonchalant about it, she says it doesn’t hurt/isnt hot or itchy and says she’s barely noticed herself. I’d be taking her straight to the doctors if we weren’t leaving for Greece in a few hours! Do you think it will be ok until we get back next week? Is this normal- sounding? I’m worried now but there’s nothing I can do! Can someone put my mind at ease?

Forgot to add that if I hadn’t seen it she wouldn’t have mentioned it and I’d be none the wiser.

Stretch marks are v common during puberty, dd has some on breasts, hips thighs, but what is the redness, is it separate to the stretch marks? Is it a patch of red skin or the whole breast? I'd be more concerned about that, the stretch marks wouldn't worry me though

It’s a light red on the majority on the breast, not just stretch marks. The other has darker stretch marks but not any other redness. My anxious mind is telling me it’s an infection but she’s absolutely fine, no symptoms at all other than redness.
