Hi my dd is going to Berlin for a few days with a couple of mates she’s 18
we’ve been as a family a couple of years ago but their going for the clubs
shes been telling me that the clubs are wild there some of which allow sex
I appreciate there’s probably clubs of this sort in London where we live but it’s been some years since I was clubbing
I have advised her to be in control of alcohol & her surroundings and not to wander off from her friends or go back to the hotel alone
This is another chapter of worry which will be out of my control when she starts uni
Id prefer nice replies and not criticism please ?

Not sure what you are actually asking...
Part of parenting is ensuring you give them the tools to be adults. They need to make their own decisions and choices and you just hope you've given them guidance and support to make good decisions and choices and be there if it goes pear shaped, which it sometimes does. There are worse things than (consensual) sex and a bit of dope smoking at uni.

Trust me there are much worse clubs on some the tourist holiday Islands. Berlin is a safe city with good public transport and lots of great things to see and do. Of course your daughter needs to act responsibly, but I think Berlin is a great option for teens to visit.

Tell her to go, be safe and have a great time. She’s an adult she can do as she pleases. Did you not do anything stupid as a young adult? I know I did. Berlin is a great city and as safe as any other
