First shaver (DS14)

DS14 (ASD/PDA) is bothered by his peach fuzz moustache.
How do lads get introduced to shaving and when? I'm thinking an electric shaver initially.
DH (62) - also ASD, has worn a beard since his early 20's and doesn't seem to want to take on the father-son coming-of-age thing - helpful.
Grandpa wet shaves.
Any advice?

I bought my 14 year old an electric razor which he gets on well with just be sure that he keeps it cleans and washes his faces otherwise he will get pimples
