Can any one recommend a good deodorant or roll on for teen girl, she’s starting to get really sweaty at school and doesn’t like taking her blazer or in case of sweat patches

Your daughter needs an antiperspirant and deodorant, not just deodorant.

She also needs to wash with bar soap and a scrubby flannel on her underarms. Shower gel doesn’t work for smelly pits

Hi Adorslia,

Some of the users have recommended anti-perspirant but I actually think the opposite. Often anti-perspirants have aluminium in them. There's a lot of stuff going around about aluminium that are unproven but one thing's for certain, it is one of the leading causes of staining in clothing. Yellow marks in white shirts and white marks in other clothes.

Contrary to popular believe, your teen should probably use a good (good being the important part here) deodorant without anti-perspirant in it. Something that is drying and bacteria fighting. That way she wont get sweat patches and she'll smell fresh.

We use Rubb (rubbdeodorant.com) on our DS, well the whole family uses it to be fair and it's great. They're coming out with a roll-on soon so might be just what you're looking for.

Hope that helps

We use Green People or Wild deodorant. I’m not keen on antiperspirants as they literally stop sweat escaping the body - which it really needs to do. Also, many antiperspirants contain aluminium which, personally, causes me extreme breast pain.

Perspirex strong- Amazon. Not the cheapest at £8.48 but works really well
