Summer plans after GCSEs

What are your teens planning to do this summer after GCSEs?

I have asked mine if he wants to go camping with friends or anything special but he is very apathetic. I know that if i leave it to him, he will waste his days waking up late and just playing football sometimes.

So, i am looking for ideas so i can propose them to him.

What is he doing after summer? Mine spent his summer getting up late and occasionally paying football but thats because he knew from September he would be working shifts and wouldnt get the time to just completely chill again. If they are going to college so will have more time off etc again next year then I would maybe encourage them to do at least something or get a part time job etc.

Mine is doing NCS and an air cadets shooting camp. Also looking for a job to fill the days. We've got a week's holiday booked as well.
She'll hopefully be working but if not I imagine it'll be gym/swimming and cadets, plus meeting friends. It's nice to chill for a bit but it's a really long stretch with no plans. Have a look into NCS. What kind of things do they enjoy?

He will be going to Sixth Form for 3A-levels.

Definitely a trip overseas for a couple of days with DH and a whole family holiday up north for a week. Hopefully volunteering in our local library for a couple of sessions each week and meeting up with her friends. Probably doing lots of baking, lots of art (drawing and painting) and some crafts. Sadly also probably watching too much television and playing video games.... But she's worked hard this year and I hope that she will have a great summer before she goes into sixth form.

My DS has just a got part time job which he's excited about. Other than that, seeing friends / his girlfriend, playing his sport and I am sure a fair bit of lazing about and the play station!

What job will he be doing?

Working in the clubhouse at a golf club. He's not allowed to serve alcohol but will be waiting at the various functions and bookings they have (lunches, christenings etc) and maybe helping with serving food to the members and clearing tables etc.
