Chores

For those who have their teenagers/pre teens do chores to earn pocket money or just to help out, what do they do?

I’ll start. My 12 year old has to hang clothes on the airer probably two days a week, wash dishes after dinner two days a week, and keep his room in good shape (expected anyway). He thinks this is too much but in reality it takes 10 min a few times a week.

What do you have yours do?

DD12 does bugger all aside from make her bed and she'll make herself food do her dishes. I'm not forcing it cos DSS19 does nothing at all

Not linked to their allowance but my kids do the following;

Keep room tidy/Change bed
Feed/walk/brush/shower dogs
Load/unload dishwasher
Cook once a week
Put a wash on if I ask
Oldest gives lifts to youngest when home from uni

Washing-up anything that doesn't fit in dishwasher, feed the cats, keep their rooms sanitary (no crockery, glasses etc)
Also ad hoc help with washing, gardening etc.
