Do they come back?

Everyone says teens are hard and they come back.

I don't think mine will. It's a very bad relationship.

Help.

They do!!
My perfect daughter rebelled at 17
Ran away got police involved and social services. Total breakdown of our relationship really didn't think I could look at her in the same way again
But in the end I stopped fighting her let her do things her way (she found out how hard life is!)
And now we couldn't be closer.
I'm no expert but choose your battles and let them know you love them and are there for them when they are ready

It's not good between us. When she's happy she just goes out. When she's sad she gives me about 5 seconds to respond. I don't say the right thing quick enough and she's furious.

It's a terrible relationship. She's better with her dad. I wish I'd had two. This is just a mess.

She's 16. It's been bad since age 11. And now I'm worried it was bad before then too. Maybe from age 9.

Seriously, do they? Having the worst time with my soon to be 18 yr old daughter. Like yourself she's seriously rebelled, police, social services, now she's been "sectioned" and won't permit anyone to provide me any information on how she's doing.
We were always so close until she hit 16 and got codependent on this girl.
Help please. Should I just leave her to sort herself out like she's asking? How do I know what she really wants me to do. I'm mentally broken Sad
