Best car insurance for new teen driver??

18yo dd has just put a deposit down on a little car so is now hunting for insurance!

Any recommendations for ones to use and ones to avoid??

for Us it was entirely dependent on cost tbh. We were getting quotes of £4-£5k so when we got one for just over £1,800 we just had to take it.

Still eye wateringly expensive for a tiny little 14 year old car!!

What was the car?

Did you look at insurance before choosing it? Often teens pick a car and THEN look at insurance, but best other way round as type of car and engine size can make a big difference.

It's a little, fairly old, Citroen c1 so tiny engine.

It was still £1400 to insure though 😳🤯
