Desperately trying to keep DS16 vaguely communicating with us after various crap happenings.
He’ll stay after tea to watch comedy but we’re running out!
he loves the humor of black books, IT crowd, red dwarf and ghosts.
we’ve found count Arthur strong that I’d not heard of but it’s brilliant .
any other suggestions., please! films are good too.
many many thanks!

Taskmaster!!!

Cats does countdown throws out series fairly regularly and I always laugh

Derry Girls
Inbetweeners
Both on 4oD, both "school" comedies
The Young ones might appeal?

Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, Porridge
Older, but great writing

Mighty Boosh fits in with the stuff you listed. Maybe Friday night dinner?

For in the car(?) as it's radio not TV, but Cabin Pressure. Best. Sitcom. Ever. Should be available on podcast sites I think

Favourite teen friendly films
Bill & Ted most excellent adventure
The Princess Bride
Hot Fuzz
Fire Saga (the will Ferrell Eurovision one?)

Random extra:
We loved Fool us - Penn and Teller as teens and it turns out there's a bunch more series on YouTube I think and I have binged them and 😍

Thank upyou everyone, these are terrific ideas!
I think maybe the in between ears is not what you want to watch with your parents? It’s a bit sex stuff. Or am I just old?

It’s probably very embarrassing to watch with a 16 yr old but very funny. Go for it!

Dd14 and I also bond over comedies including iT crowd and ghosts. Other favourites here are Derry Girls, Friday night dinner, Taskmaster, Fawlty Towers and Brooklyn 99. And we've listened to Cabin Pressure and John Finnemores souvenir programme in the car
