Driving lessons

DD (17) wants to learn to drive. Anybody got any advice on the subject?

Ask around other teenagers to see which instructors are best, and if you can afford it pay for 10 lessons at a time. My DS (17) has just started lessons. They're £20 each or 10 for £190 - and they go up to £22 in April, I think.
