Hi, My teenager has told me he wants to shave the excess hair from 'down there' to be less sweaty. He wants me to choose a shaver for him. I have no idea about this and would love some advice. Should he do this? If so, what shaver (attachments??) does he need for this to be safe. Has anyone else had this problem?

He might be better to go with a hair trimmer, rather than a shaver, if he's trying to reduce excess hair, rather than than getting rid of the hair completly. Less potential itching with trimming, if the skin down there isn't accustomed to being frequently shaved.

Have a look on boots website Braun do a range of body hair groomers, there’s various models but would recommend he does some research on them

Thanks for the tips everyone. I looked at some shavers and picked one for that region from Amazon. And I got a shaving cream and a moisturiser for that part of the body too. Am waiting for feedback from my son now. The Gilette website has some tips for reducing hair down there. I shared it with him.
