Hi, my DD13 has recently become very emotional and is having intrusive thoughts which she is finding very stressful. She has become withdrawn and has started hitting herself. Has anyone experienced this in their own kids and what did you do?
we have seen the GP and a CAMHS referral has been sent, I’ve found a private counsellor for her to talk to. Researching her symptoms I’m leaning towards OCD - her dad has it so it’s in her DNA.
Any advice would be bc welcome as it’s heartbreaking to see her shrivel in front of my eyes.
