Hi all, has anybody tried different orthodontists to get a better price for invisalign? We were told cost would be £4,500 for bottom and top set of teeth, and roughly 18 month treatment, obviously a lot of money so just wondering if anybody knows - is it possible to get a better price going to a different clinic or is it a waste of time?
Any feedback / experience with this much appreciated.

Might depend which part of the country. But we paid over 5K in London 😕. That was about 2 years ago.

Iv had Invislign treatment 3 times at 3 different clinics, its always the same price, perhaps a discount for paying all in one go.

Im currently on my 3rd Invislign treatment and it’s £4500 for 6 months of treatment. So I doubt you’d get it cheaper for 18 months

My DD treatment cost 4,500e and took just under 2 years. To be perfectly honest the best money I have ever spent. He teeth look amazing, she is so happy with them, and I am happy that she got them without painful surgery and stone age contraptions like I had to go through 35 years ago.

With orthodontists you pay for what you get. Please don’t be tempted to go to a regular dentist offering Invisalign, it’s far cheaper but it’s not the same whatsoever and most have only done a few days training in it. A proper orthodontist has done years of postgrad study on moving teeth so they are the experts and definitely the best to go to.

We paid £4k for DD’s Invisalign although this was in 2018/19 so £4.5k sounds about right. The price is the same no matter how long treatment is. She had a wonderful orthodontist and had a fantastic experience with the whole thing, her results are fabulous.

I agree, @zoopigi , Invisalign can work really well. My DD is coming to the end of her treatment and her teeth look amazing. But it’s not cheap.
