My 18 year old DS (he turned 18 last week) is ramping up to do his Leaving Cert in June.
He was diagnosed with ADD a few years ago after years of issues in school but he is now thriving and doing well and In great form .
However he does find he zones out a lot so he has decided to try meds to help study and he's been prescribed Ritalin. I am about to fill prescription but I'm getting worried he ll find it addictive. If he's in such good form and doing well is he mad to start such a strong drug?
Any experience? Thanks!
