Mumsnet screen time??

DS 14 has been upset about my 'extreme' mumsnet usage and has taken action by setting up a screen limit! Whenever I use the app for 3 and a half hours it blocks me! 😂

How do I approach this?? He has set a screen time password and it won't let me change it! I can't argue with him because he keeps saying "If I have a screen limit so should you" and whatnot.
Even while typing this I'm worried my screen time is going to run out! What should I do?!

Seriously? Be a parent and remind him who pays for the WiFi Hmm

If your husbands colluding consider whether you're in an abusive marriage.

I mean 3.5 hours of mumsnet a day is a bit much... Grin

Use the website rather than the app?

Use the website rather than the app?

I tried that, but he found out and blocked the website as well!

If you’re on Mumsnet for 3.4 hrs a day you probably do need someone to intervene and save you from yourself 👀

See it for what it is - your teen wants attention. Spend all the time you would have spent mindlessly scrilling chatting to him instead. Either you’ll improve your relationship with him or he’ll give you the password to shut you up… win win.

What a guy. He's doing you a massive favour

Change the passport on your router and don't give it to your son until he gives you the one for your screen.

He doesn't use the internet anymore! Says it's pointless.

I don't agree with his methods but 3.5 hours a day is too much time to waste on here. He's doing you a favour!

You are the parent, perhaps remind both of them about it.
