Can anyone help please?

We have just received my ds certificates, they have only one part of his double barrelled surname when his passport, ni no. etc have both?

Could there be any implications later?

Thank you for your thoughts.

I think it would be better to consult the school on this rather than relying on strangers in MN!

Well it could cause problems but hopefully won't.

When he was entered back in approx February you / he should have been asked to sign off that the entries were correct, including the surname.

Our collection email had this statement on:

Please check all the details on your certificate carefully, including the spelling of your name and your date of birth. If there are any errors please inform the Exams Team at Xx Campus at [email protected] as the exam board may charge for late alterations.

So I assume if you contact school quickly they can get it amended for free.

He would have been asked to check his details and subjects well before the exams. However, if he returns the certificates to school promptly with proof of his legal name (eh his passport), they can send them back to the exam boards for amending.
It will be because that is the legal name school have for him in their system.

Back to school with proof of name.

We haven't got ours yet but as DD is known at school with a different first name than her legal name I will scrutinise the certificate.
