Belly button piercing

Dd16 belly button piercing not looking good.
Can anyone advise? she had it in march. Healed well. But it's been knocked. And she re pierced another hole near it by accident.
Taking her to piercers today. Can anyone advise?
she's very upset.

It has a kind of lump near the original piercing. It looks solid. Not like pus. Bit worried it's permanent.

I had one on my nose like that once, but just bathing it with salt water really helped it wasn't permanent. I think they're quite common X

My daughter had to take hers out because her body rejected it, I wonder if that’s happening to your daughter?

Yes it healed up fine and you can’t see it was there now. She was gutted, she loved that piercing and none of us had had trouble before with ears or noses. She was just unlucky I guess. She still talks about getting it done again!

My DD had trouble with a helix piercing that started to get a lump and was painful and looked infected. I bought a spray called Prontolind from Amazon. It cleared up within a couple of days of her using it. Now whenever she gets any soreness or redness she dabs the area with a cotton pad sprayed with this and it instantly heals the area. It’s been a miracle!
