Walking alone in dark safety - tips/alarms/appa

Hi
We were in a fairly busy part of suburban london where my 15 year old daughter felt fine walking on her own home from school in the dark as there was always people and buses around. Since having to move, we are in a much quieter area and she is feeling very anxious on the days when she finishes later, it is dark and we can’t collect her. Any apps/alarms/resources/tips you could recommend?

thanks

I’ve heard of an app recently called hollies guard that might help her feel more safe x

There is an app called Life 360 which would show you her location + give her an option to alert you in an emergency. The only downside is I think it’s a bit of an invasion of privacy to have her parents tracking her 24/7 at 15. If she’s happy with it though then that’s fine

Can she walk with a friend or even FaceTime somebody? That’s what my DD tends to do

@scrumbrum12 my dd has this attached to her school bag. It’s quick to pull the loop and makes a lot of noice! Both dds are currently doing a 6 week self defence course which is helping a bit with confidence.
