Hates kids at school

DD1 is in year 11 and hates the corridors and social areas at school. She says they are boisterous, people make rude and lewd comments and she is sick of food being thrown in the dinner hall. That’s before we start on the horrors of the school bus!
She’s doing very well academically and has a small but close group of friends so no concerns there. She says lessons are generally fine as she’s in top sets and her teachers have good control.
I keep saying to hold on and college will be a whole new experience when she starts in September.
I remember loving doing my a levels and finding it a much more civilised environment but I am just wondering if I am presuming that college life is a more restrained environment, full of more mature pupils? I take it that there won’t be the crushes in the corridors and no food being thrown.

My dd has ESBA for the above reason.

Usually at colleges they do treat them more like adults. So it is a lot better. I hear there us still vaping on some toilets but it is much better.
