Haircut

Sounds completely trivial but am really annoyed my Son will not get his haircut. He's 14, going back to school soon. All his friends and Brother have fresh cuts or at least neat hair. My Son's looks overgrown and generally unkept. He washes it and in all other areas is hygienic, dresses well ect.

Should I push it or just accept he doesn't care about looking smart or well kept! He won't even get a tidy up!

Let it go. Its what teenagers do surely?

Let it go. It's his hair and if he doesn't want to get it cut, you can't make him. In my experience, the more focus you give it, the more likely they are to dig their heels in. At least he's clean and hygienic.

@Motherhood86 but you were one, and knew some, and see them around? At least hes washing it!!

@Bemyclementine yes but I was conscious of my hair etc when I was his age and so are my friends children ect so am frustrated he isn't!

He will more than likely be at some point. At least hes not going through the unwashed stage!

Try telling him how great it looks, he'll probably cut it just to be contrary 😆
