What brands are fashionable with teenagers?

Looking for presents for DSD (15) and she has asked for a very vague "I dunno, clothes". Problem is, I have no idea what brands are 'trendy' nowadays. She likes Nike and wants some under armour shorts, but outside of that I'm stumped. What are your teenage girls wearing?

DD buys a lot in Urban Outfitters and Brandy Melville and Monki.

DD 17 buys following brands for:

Every day - joggers from Nike. Jeans, tops, knitwear from Urban Outfitters, Monki, Zara, H&M
Going out clothes/party dresses/festival outfits - Motel Rocks, Oh Polly, Shein

Mine’s 17 and she likes buying off Vinted, urban outfitters, motel rocks.
Could you go for a shopping trip?

Urban Outfitters is very popular with DD and all of her friends. She also buys from Zara, Hollister and gets quite a lot of her stuff from various brands on ASOS. If she’s sporty Lululemon leggings or shorts would be a great gift, a bit more upmarket but on the wish list of lots of teens these days

My dd really likes Urban Outfitters, some Jack Wills stuff and Nike.

She's got quite a bit of H&M stuff for basics.

My DD also big fan of Urban Outfitters (funds permitting!), then also Zara, H&M and GymShark for gym wear. Same as others - Motel and Oh Polly for going out /party clothes .. mentally prepare yourself for the Oh Polly website though! Not for the faint hearted …

I would ask her to send me some links to stuff she'd like.

Can't go wrong with Nike or North Face

Daisy03 · 03/08/2023 09:41

I'd probably go with a voucher for jd sports.
Was also going to say Nike pros but I suppose that depends a bit on shape and confidence

Urban Outfitters, Gilly Hicks, Brandy Melville.

Urban outfitters if I’m feeling generous, as do think it’s very over priced for what it is. H&m, SHEIN, primark, occasional holister

tbh I think It does depend somewhat on where they live or whether they attend state or private school.
