Has anyone ever had a situation where you are friends with another mum. You have DC the same age and of the opposite genders (who end up getting to know each other)

One DC has a crush on the DC of the other mum. I assume it's caused awkwardness if it gets out.

I don't see that being an issue I have a DS 14 and DD12. I think if anything it might be a positive thing. You know the boy, the family and their background. Have you spoken to your DD about it? Does she know you know?

Yes I do know them well. DD is the one who told me. She was like "Turns out [X] has told his friends he's got a crush on me."
