Hi, my daughter wants to start earning some extra money, and she is driving me insane about finding her a job, etc.
Any suggestions, please?

Very few places will hire a 13 year old.

Paper round?
Washing cars?
Handing out flyers maybe?

Pubs & cafes will hire young people for pot washing / waiting on tables etc.

Just wait till 16 most places can hire then

Yup, not a lot that can be done at that age.

But I get Ds to clean the windows - all inside and outside on the ground floor and the windows that are accessible. If he was really desperate for more money, I'd suggest he asked around our family and friends for similar. Any good?

Mine did/do paper rounds and leaflet delivery.
Nothing else can be done legally, unless a friend has a cafe, etc.

My 13-year-old works at a stable yard mucking out stables on weekends.

Her friends babysit. She hates kids so that's not an option 😂but she's great with animals so dog-walking/cat-feeding for neighbours were some of the other suggestions.

Paper round & pot washing.
Babysitting or dogwalking when I was a young 'un.

Most places won't have the insurance to hire an under 16.

She could take initiative and hand out flyers offering gardening, dog walking, lawn mowing etc.

I'd say she's a bit young for babysitting tbh. She could do a car boot sale and sell stuff if you're willing to take her.

Or thrifting from charity shops and then upwelling on Vinted.
