Present for a DD who loves the Classical world?

DD turns 16 in a few weeks' time. She is not old enough for a car, that will wait until 18. She loves the ancient world and I have decided to get her something related to that. Any ideas?

If you have enough cash to intend to buy a car, maybe a trip to Crete/Rome?

Where are you? there's an exhibition about Knossos at the Ashmolean in Oxford, a weekend in Oxford that takes that in?

Or something from this place?

I’m a classics geek.

for my 21st my parents got me a Roman key. Some digs sell off the lower value (both historical and cash value) finds to raise funds.

something like that would be ace.

There used to be a great little shop in Drury Lane in London that sold stuff like that' Little shabti, faience beads, coins...long gone, sadly.

Definitely trip to Rome if you can manage that

How about a trip to Pompei?

catherinedubliners · 09/06/2023 21:05

These are all some great ideas!

We'll grab Neapolitan pizza along the way
