My DS is 14 and has just started getting teenage acne, quite badly. There is one large spot on his nose that goes away for a week or two and the comes back in the same place, it is now leaving a scar. We have tried a few creams etc, what do other people find is the best one?

DS started quite young and was getting them at 11. He uses Cetaphil for oily skin and nip&fab salicylic night pads. It tends to keep them at bay when he remembers to use them daily. Since it keeps coming back I would try some acnecide products, specifically the 5% Benzoyl Peroxide gel to get rid of any bacteria. I once had a big recurring one on my cheek and ending up having to use hibiscrub and benzoyl peroxide from the doctors to get rid of it for good!
