6th form ball - where to buy a decent suit that doesn't cost the earth?

Where do you wonderful people buy suits for the leavers ball? Looking for something that won't make me bankrupt, for a son that's not too bothered about suits and occasions. He is tall and slim however so it can't be just any regular suit or the length won't fit.

DS wears a suit for 6th form. He got one from River Island, cost £100. He also bought one of their suits on eBay for £15.

Another recommendation for Matalan for good priced suits in a range of different fits.

we got brogues from Slaters for a very good price too.

Asos as he is likely to get a bit bigger.

Next, M&S for sure plus look at Asda who have slim fit formal suits currently

Another vote for Vinted, I bought all 3 of my DSs (ages 7, 11 & 13) suits for a family wedding in June from Vinted, really good condition as they had only been worn once, spent in total for the 3 x 3-piece suits with ties £65 (including postage), and will sell on.
