My ds (15) is thinking to give a couple of girl-friends very pretty but artificial roses on Thursday. He is even going to borrow my perfume to make them subtly scented..
Acceptable?

I think a girl will be pleased with anything tbh.
He sounds very sweet and I bet they'll be thrilled.

My dd would love it btw, forgot to say that.

I think that's a lovely idea.

The sixth formers at ds's school are running a rose delivery service tomorrow. For £2 you can anonymously or otherwise send a fresh red rose to your beloved.

My ds isn't q. at that stage yet (or so he says...)

I think it's a lovely idea. My DS has just forked out £35 on a gift for a girl. Hope she bloody well appreciates it! Your DS's rose idea sounds far more appropriate.

very sweet

Oooh, Moon66, is this the same lad who was spending all his days and nights on the pc doing Manga and generally living like a hermit? Has he found Love?

(sorry if I've got my wires crossed, there are a lot of "Moon" names around these days!)

themoon66 · 14/02/2008 11:51

oh yes Mumble... that's my boy

Trouble is love fell apart for him last night I think. I heard him pleading with her not to hang up on him. (She is on school trip to NY and had rung him on his mobile). Then he woke me up at 1.10am to ask if it was okay to use the land line to phone NY .

mumblechum · 14/02/2008 11:57

Oh, no, poor lad!

She doesn't deserve him. (pursed mouth, arms crossed emoticon)

I may try to explain the complexities of girl-game-playing. But then again, will he listen?

Just when I've got him on track with A-levels, coursework and revision, then she distracts him. Grrr
