Sunglasses for glasses wearer

Hope this is ok to post here. My teenager isn't due an eye test for a while but needs sunglasses. I'd rather avoid having to buy a whole new pair without the help of the kids NHS voucher. She has glasses at the correct prescription which are just what she would go for as sunglasses. Does anywhere know of the most cost effective way of getting them made into sunglasses?

They’ll need to take the lenses out and replace them with tinted lenses. It’s unlikely to be particularly cheaper than getting new ones, I’d have thought.

Sorry no idea, but would the opticians coat them? Probably cheaper to buy cheap frame tinted.

We get reactions lenses which keeps everything simple.

Specsavers cheapest frame is £15. Tinted lenses are £30.

It would cost more to reglaze the existing frame with tinted lenses. They don’t just paint a coating on them
