Insurance for 6 months

DS is currently with Marmalade and it's due for renewal. He's off to Uni in September and won't be taking a car, he drives mine and I need it

Which insurance company is best for Students for Six months?

Veygo are great for temp insurance - you have to confirm that you have a policy in your name with details then he takes out a separate policy in his name for a term of 24 hrs up to about 3 months I think. Found them great for covering friends or kids borrowing my car or teaching DSS to drive in mine. Don't think it goes as long as 6 months but you could just redo it then.

May be better off just adding him for the year though and at least you're covered if he borrows it for the occasional xmas home visit etc.
