Happy Mothers Day to me! What a blooming day! Last week DH asked what I wanted to do for mothers day and I suggested a day at the seaside..anything to get my DS away from gaming and with us for a few hours. This morning..no happy mothers day and DS refused to go to the seaside saying he didn't feel well (have had this before every time he gets asked to do something!) so I went on my own with the 2 dogs! Came back still no happy mothers day. DS gave me my presents after DH told him to give them me. DS just basically threw them at me, no happy mothers day and just told me to open them. I decided not to. DH asked what I wanted for dinner and I said at that stage I wasn't sure so he did dinner for himself and DS. I later made some toast...and watched TV in the spare room now off to bed for a 5am start.
Am I being childish, not sure what I was expecting but a happy mothers day from either DH or DS and a bit of fuss having had a tough time recently wouldn't have gone amiss.
