16 year old son, always taking others belongings, or example sisters phone charger as her charges quicker, has no empathy for others, wants what he wants.....now. Selfish, the list goes on.

I dread what the day will bring with him.

Ok he is a teenager and if these are the type of things he is doing that upset you think yourself very lucky. Myself and my friends between us have had to recently deal with teenage pregnancy, drug use, stabbings both vixtim and perpetrator, grooming and rape.

It is not a competition and obviously you are annoyed by his behaviour but teenagers are selfish it has always been this way. Dont sweat the small stuff.

I have three other teenagers.

I've also dealt with a teenage pregnancy this year.

Please don't think I have it easy.

I'm raising them alone, working two jobs just trying to keep the lights on and barely managing it.

He has punched holes in almost every wall in my home, lashes out constantly, speaks to us all in an aggressive tone.

If he can't find something, he'll knock something over, kick the pile of shoes, push a folded stack of washing over.......endless.

I'm doing up my hallway, last week the internet wasn't quick enough for him so he punched the plug socket, broke it, it had only been there a few days brand new.

He's broken every telly he's had.

I'm at my wits end with him.

Yesterday evening I spotted his school uniform in front of the washing machine, thought nothing of it as he might have PE today so wears his own gear in.

He comes down, asks me to write a note for no uniform, I said why, he says he got toothpaste on it.......the whole uniform?! No, just the leg, said he tried to get it out but couldn't. That will be a lie, he just can't be arsed.

I'm exhausted with life at the moment and the shit it's throwing at me.

Is he medicated for his ADHD?

It does seem like something is going on. How does he behave at school?

ADHD.
