14 year old lightheaded, confused and feelings of dissassociation

My 14 year old daughter has been having episodes of feeling confused, mild dizziness and disassociation (like she's living in a dream). They last about a week and have occurred every month to the date. This last episode is the 3rd and started on the 4th Dec.
Whilst she's having these episodes she has random episodes of vomiting along with poor appetite, she sleeps badly, she's very tearfully, can't concentrate in school and gets confused easily. She doesn't appear to be worried about anything and in between these episodes she's her usual cheerful, happy self.
She's had an ECG which was fine, urine test, bloods test that showed slight anemia (has started on iron supplements). I recently spoke to the GP again who queried if it was due to her menstrual cycle, these episodes come on between her periods. GP also mentioned a hormone imbalance and suggested magnesium supplements, which acts as a hormone balancer. The GP thought the episodes where very symptomatic of migraines which can occur with no actual headaches. GP is referring her to pediatrics.
I'm at my wits end. Has anyone had or heard of similar symptoms or had children who have gone through the same experience? Please help.🙏🙏

Have a look at something called POTS. My 15 yr old DD is awaiting a visit to a cardiologist to confirm but has been suffering from dizziness, fatigue and foggy brain for a few months. Commonly appears in teen girls. Lots of blood tests and all normal so far. We are managing it temporarily with a massive increase in her water intake (using Liquid iv sachets to up her electrolytes) and upping her salt consumption (salty snacks at regular intervals during the day)
I’d never heard of it but the symptoms do fit. Good luck getting to the bottom of it all!

My first thought was menstrual migraine without the pain, but I am definitely not qualified! Good luck with it, I hope she isn’t too upset by it.

the confusion, dizziness and dreamlike feeling definitely all point to PoTs which is quite common in teenagers but underdiagnosed so if it is that be prepared to fight for a diagnosis especially because at first they might fob you off with it being because of her periods best of luck op

hi OP - my DD has the same and after multiple tests she still hasn't had a diagnosis yet - it's really frustrating.

Will look at PoTs.
