Anybody any experience of Marmalade insurance for the newly passed young driver?

As title requests, I'm looking for experiences of Marmalade insurance. The mixed Trustpilot reviews have scared me as has the cost of adding him to my current insurance policy!

Yes us a d it's been good so far. DS drives my car with his own insurance through Marmalade.

We waited a couple of weeks and the price went down by £300.

He's a fairly sensible lad though and seems to stick to the rules.

They were more expensive for DD. we've gone with Hastings youdrive

We found Insure the Box or Tesco cheaper and have put him on his own policy on my car with parents as named drivers - so that he can hopefully build up a no claims from day 1.
