I was just on another thread (about a 12 yo who was refusing to come home) and I recommended an app which I use to track both where DS is and his online activity. (He is 13 and has ASD). I thought I would start a thread both to make the recommendation again but also to see what other people are using for their younger teenagers.
The app I use is Famisafe, it has a very accurate location function and good internet use tracking and reporting features, also time blocking, and the ability to allow certain apps to still function even after time limit. The one thing it has, which I have not found with any of the other ones, is that you can block specific YouTube channels. All the others I have found so far only offer the option to block or allow the whole of YouTube, which would not work for DS as he loves watching videos to do with his particular interests such as trains and Strictly.
