Teen girl school uniform trousers

I feel like Matthew Cuthbert asking about puff sleeves (Anne of Green Gables ref), but here goes.

My DD, 15, chooses her own clothes obviously but I still buy her uniform. I've always bought John Lewis or Next school trousers and that's what she's been wearing since primary school. However I notice that the other girls wear really stylish trousers while hers seem pretty uncool. I'm not talking about the figure hugging ones, but more "young" in cut, and ankle length instead of flapping about.

Could someone link to these trousers please so that I could buy them for her. She needs them in navy.

My dd (13) wanted school trousers this year but didn't like any in the school uniform ranges. We ended up getting M&S petite ladies ones, high waisted, slim fit and tapered at ankle. I'll try and find a link.

M&S do nice school trousers for teens. Only seen them in black or grey though.

Are you going to buy a rake before you dare to get the trousers?

Are they cigarette pants do you think? Did you see any of the pockets as that will be a good clue.
