Any suggestions?

What did you get yours?

He got a decent watch and silver chain for his 16th, and that is the extent of any jewellery he would wear .

One got golf clubs, and the other an expensive fitness watch.

Previsional and Car for one and moped for the other
They worked so paid for their own lessons. X

Thanks. He's already getting help with a car, and test is booked.

He has recently got into golf a little, but I'm reluctant to spend on that so soon in case it's a phase!

Golf lessons then?

I find boys do less of the sentimental jewellery type gifts. Something sporty/hobby or kiss ass trainers.

We had our elder son’s portrait painted in oils and framed. It’s an absolutely beautiful view of him at eighteen. Our younger son wanted a guitar and so we bought him a very special one.

Just suggested a golf club membership, and he's not keen. Not enjoying that much, just the driving range.

He's just sent me a link to a watch.

He does wear the one from his 16th every day, so maybe having a second one is okay. He assures me he'll still wear the first one, which is good, as it was from his dad and SM and I wouldn't want it to just gather dust in a drawer.

A watch and yet another pair of trainers it is!

Thanks all.
