Headaches

My teenage DS age 14 has been referred from the optician to the hospital. All checked out and they thought it was bulging discs but it's not. However he is still getting intermittent headaches. Not enough to stop him doing anything but he does mention it. I just wonder do teenage boys get them in puberty? He is 6ft1 and his literally turned into a man overnight! Does hormones in boys give them headaches? He drinks loads of water as is very sporty and active. Goes to bed at a reasonable time. I have an appointment with the GP but just wondered if teenage headaches in boys is a thing!

I couldn't say for boys, but I'd say any frequent headaches (rather than occasional) after ruling out eyesight, should be checked out properly.
